The Registry Tweak To Enable/Disable Taskmanager

No Comment - Post a comment

Navigate to Start menu->Run, and here in Run window type regedit.exe and press ok to open registry editor.

Here we need to do registry editing. On left pane difefrent registry hives are present and on right diffrent registry keys and their coresponding values appear. On left pane go to the entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System by first double clicking HKEY_CURRENT_USER and then under it double clicking Software and so on till you reach System. There in right see a lot of keys and values.

In that right pane right click and click New->DWORD Value to create a new registry variable(key) and assign coresponding values. Now right click that new value (that we created now) and modify it's name to DisableTaskMgr.

Now what value to give to the registry key named DisableTaskMgr.If you want to disable taskmanager assign 1 as value to key DisableTaskMgr. If again you want to enable the taskmanager you have to assign 0 as value to the key DisableTaskMgr that you created to disable it.
